Tower Yacht Winter

Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the use of our yacht winterization and indoor dock storage services and form the agreement between the vessel owner or their authorized representative and our La Rochelle facility. By reserving a berth, requesting winterization work, or leaving a vessel in our care, you accept these terms in full. A confirmed booking secures indoor storage space and any agreed layup services for the stated season; owners are responsible for providing accurate details about the vessel, including its dimensions, weight, systems, and the location and condition of its seacocks, tanks, batteries, and machinery. Storage fees, service charges, and any additional work are invoiced as agreed and become payable according to the schedule confirmed at the time of booking, and access to a stored vessel is arranged through the harbour desk during operating hours so that movements within the facility remain safe and supervised.

While every vessel in our care is winterized, monitored, and protected with professional diligence, owners remain responsible for maintaining valid insurance covering their yacht throughout the storage period, including cover for fire, theft, and accidental damage. We carry out our services to a high standard and keep documented records of the work performed, but we do not accept liability for pre-existing faults, latent defects, damage arising from inaccurate information supplied by the owner, or loss of personal effects left aboard. Owners must remove valuables and hazardous materials, declare any special requirements before storage begins, and settle outstanding charges before a vessel is released or launched. We reserve the right to move a vessel within the facility when operationally necessary, to refuse or discontinue service where safety is compromised, and to amend these terms from time to time, with the version in force at the date of booking applying to that engagement.
